Seeing Green.

I had yesterday off for Rohan's birthday. Since Darrick and Luca are on spring break, I took today off as well. My mom offered to watch the kids, so we headed out to lunch then had a few drinks at our old watering hole. This place used to be walking distance from our old house, so we would go there with neighbors and have a few drinks, then walk safely home. I love living where we live now, but man do I miss this little piece of pre-kid life.

This year is Lucky Number 7 for us, and just these few hours alone together, having a slow lunch and playing a fun game of darts, reminded me why I love my life so much.
